We are currently seeking a Tax Manager for our Real Estate Industry Services group! Initially you will find yourself working in familiar territory. Being responsible for the detail review of partnerships (1065 & 1040), Limited Liability Company and individual income tax returns for companies and individuals engaged in the real estate development industry. This position also affords you the opportunity to conduct tax research on current real estate tax topics. In addition, you will be involved in special projects analyzing real estate transactions including: like-kind exchanges, disguised sales; partnership termination debt financing arrangements; and acquisition due diligence.

Now on to the fun stuff! Develop, grow and exercise those soft skills! Be active in the cultivating of Staff by mentoring and training. Get involved in the personal interaction of client relations. GET OUT FROM BEHIND THAT DESK!!!

Preferred Skills

The successful candidate will hold a minimum of five - seven busy seasons within a public accounting firm, and hold a CPA accreditation. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, but knowledge of GO is a plus!). No revelation in the basic requirements necessary in order to be considered, the only surprise you will encounter is the attitude and personality of Aronson & Company!
